JAN SAHYOG KENDRA is a grass root level nonprofit and non-politically influenced organization, working in the field of development and mobilization of deprived community who are struggling for their livelihood in the remote area of Jharkhand, India since 2004. Since then the organization is working with an approach of integrated development of rural mass and creating awareness in the rural areas. The vision is to establish a self reliant, exploitation free, healthy and just society; where no one remains hungry, unemployed, illiterate and exploited. JSK believes that the elements of development and the resources requires to develop a society lies in the society. The need is to identify those, mobilize them and facilitate with opportunities to prosper. JSK also believes that peoples participation, proper utilization of knowledge skill and experiences of people are never be less importance and valuable than modern knowledge.

Mission

To organize and empower the under privileged and marginal section of the rural society and take-up developmental activities in a manner that will ensure higher participation of the rural poor and marginalized section in the national main stream of development.

• To promote new agricultural practice.

Strategy

The organization has adopted to balance the social action, mobilization and sustainable development program in order to ensure a society just, educated, egalitarian and non-exploitative society. JSK mobilize the rural folks and empower them to promote development as a liberating force aimed at justice, economic growth and self-reliance.
